My:place allows you to save your own files and folders in one place so they are always accessible as long as you have a computer and internet access. You can save text documents, videos and pictures. If, for example, you are a Performing Arts student you could add footage of your latest performance. Just think how impressive that will look in an interview!

Having your information all in one place means you can’t loose it!  It doesn’t matter if you move house, school or loose your memory stick you will always have a back up copy if you save it to My:place!

The video formats you can use are:

3gp - used on 3G mobile phones but can also be played on some 2G and 4G phones

Avi – Quite common and is often used with windows media player

Dv

Flv – Flash video

Mov – Used with quicktime player

mp4 - often used with windows media player

mpg - often used with windows media player

mpeg - often used with windows media player

mpg - often used with windows media player

qt

wmv - often used with windows media player
